It's outta here.....

BASEBALL...

Baseball is the best game in the world. It's a team sport that requires you to do your personal best each and every game. When you do your personal best, you can be the hero and win the game, or perhaps it can motivate your team mates to step up there game. It can be the best self esteem booster ever. It takes a team to win yes, but you can be the driving force behind your team. I've always loved baseball. I always will.

Well tonight Trevor's game was the ROCKIES vs the Red Sox's. And even though we lost 9-5, what a great game it was.
(this is him stealing second)

#12 is Trevor Randall (aka SLUGGER - that's the name he had printed on the back of his shirt). First up and he gets a double. He started a little rally for his team with that. He went on to score too.

Second up, 2 men on base, 2 outs. Guess where he took it? Not just over the fence, but into the trees and into someones back yard. Such a beautiful hit. His 2nd HR on his little league career. His team still lost, but boy was it encouraging for the other boys. It was so fun to see everyone congratulate him.

Steve Wilson came up to me after the game and said that he "thinks the ball has finally landed". I should have kept the camera going, but was so excited I forgot too.

I am so very proud of my son and his hard work with baseball this year. He has been asked to try out for the all star team again. We will see if it works into his schedule. We will try out for sure and then make a decision then.

He received his 3rd "game ball" from his coaches this year. I really think that Craig coaching his team last year helped him realize that he can succeed in this game. He started this year right where he left off last year. It's been SOOOOOOOOOO much fun to watch him be the best that he can be, each and every game!
