Porter Boy

So, my friend Cami is watching Porter for me one day a week. She has a little girl his age and they play and get along great. Nat took up Porter's bike the 1st day she watched him. Let me tell you, we had taken off his training wheels and he couldn't ride it. So Cami spent 5 minutes with him and now we can't get him to stop. First thing in the morning all he wants is his bike. Before coming in at night - BIKE. He loves it. It's funny to me that we tried to get him to learn to ride this 2 wheeler and are not successful with it. Cami comes along and 5 minutes later she's got him doing it.

The next thing that he's been wanting is a pet. Any pet will do, just a pet. What is a mother going to do when she doesn't want a pet in her house? I've notice that there seems to be an abundance of grasshoppers at my house this year - where are those darn seagulls? So the next best thing, boys. I've convinced Porter, and his friend Josh, that if they catch them they can keep them outside as pets. We'll so far we've had 5 pet grasshoppers. This one that Porter caught today really liked him. Porter was taking him for walks, jumping up and down with him and pushed him in his truck... I just laughed and finally grabbed my camera.

The last thing that he has done is started preschool. He loves it! He comes home everyday singing a new song. Some of them I remember from Natalie's day at preschool. Other's I have no clue. He takes this school thing very serious and enjoy's playing school, with his buddy Ben, after school is over. I laugh at them. They are very funny about it. After the 1st day of school, I asked him to go and hang up his picture on his door. This is where I found them. On the door knob. I laughed and thought how cute is that. He has lots of new friends at school. Some of whom I went to school with their parents. Scarry!

LIFE IS GOOD WHEN YOUR NAME IS PORTER!
