We'll here it is the LAST WEEK of school. For some of us it is very exciting. For others it is torture. I'm not sure which one I am yet. I guess it all depends on the day. Trevor is the one with a lot of summer plans. The rest of us are just moving with his schedule. He has 3 hours of summer PE every day for one month. It starts a week from today. Following that a trip, with his siblings, to St George. Then he comes home for a day and leaves for scout camp with Craig for a week. After that he has 2 weeks of nothing than starts up with summer band. He thinks he is going to teach himself the saxophone over the summer too. I don't know if that will happen or not. We will see. With all that going on we still have to finish up the baseball season too. We have another 3 weeks of baseball and then tournament play. We hope it all works out.
Natalie has finished up her acting class. Next year she's wanting to take gymnastics again. She also wants to start taking piano and has been going through her books and learning new songs. I have a feeling that whatever Natalie wants to do in life, she'll be successful. She does it all and does it well. Well, I'll take that back. There is her room issue. Maybe she'll figure that out soon. I included the picture of her first zit (see previous blog) just to let you know that she hasn't had any more since this unsightly growth. GIRLS!? She got to take her Dad to Mother & Daughter's night on Thursday (I had the flu). She was upset at first, then had a great time with him. Her leaders went all out for them. She loves to go to Activity Days. She also performed in the 4th grade UTAH program. Her group sang, "Utah we love thee". She was so quiet up there. Afterwards she told me that she had fallen and scraped up her knees and thought that they were showing. So she was embarrassed.
Craig has been a busy beaver this weekend. I have my laundry/scrap booking room framed. It is looking good. We think we have everything figured out, including a large pantry for my laundry and bathroom items. It's going to be sweet. We still have the hole in the front yard, but we have to wait for Questar to come and move the meter for us to go any farther with it. I'm also hoping that we get the 2nd bathroom back sooner rather than later. 1 bathroom sucks sometimes. We'll see what happens. I try just to let Craig do what he can when he can. Work is going well for him. He keeps him and the guys busy. Hopefully that will continue. He is going to scout camp with Trevor for 3 days. The scout leaders asked him if he'd come and help out. He is excited to participate in scouts again. He still has no calling (courtesy EQ teacher). We've had the missionaries drop by a few times this week. They are looking for contacts to teach. We gave them some names of people but they want us to do the work and see if they'd be interested in hearing the gospel. I guess this is how it goes around here. We'll see what we can do to help. They are also looking for service projects to do. They saw our dirt pile and were really excited. Unfortunately, there's not a lot for them to help us out with right now. I'm not sure Craig wants to teach them how to do things either. They both said they'd love to learn. So we figure they've never done manual labor before. One is from Arizona, the other from Georgia. They are nice young men. We have to remember that in about 6 shorts years, that will be our son out there wanting to teach and help others. WOW!
Porter's thing right now is Indiana Jones. Oh my! We took the kids and some of their friends to see IJ on Friday. I really liked it, Craig was okay with it. But Porter... he wants you to "sing" the theme song to him so he can do the 'crack' part with his pretend whip. He is so into imagination. He has a mind of his own and knows just what he wants to do. Yesterday I caught him laying on top of the dirt pile out side. It was so funny I just had to take a picture of him. He is also learning to put his pants on by himself.
He still needs some guidance though. He also needs to work on matching shoes. If you'll notice he has on one snow boot and one cowboy boot. At least they are both boots. He is a funny funny boy.
We'll I'll be signing off for yet another busy week. Hope all is well with all of you.

Wow, you guys are BUSY! Your laundry/craft room sounds like it's going to be awesome. How are you managing with only 1 bathroom? Horrors! We only have 3 people (1 of whom isn't even potty trained) and I would die without our 2nd bathroom. Love all the pics....the kids are adorable. Natalie and Trevor are growing up so fast.
I am so glad to be able to see what is going on with you. I have been checking your blog fairly regularly and am glad that I found something today.
Give those missionaries a break...We all need help. Sure wish that someone in your ward wanted to serve a mission in Hungary. We need one more couple.
What was Porter doing on the pile of dirt?
Love, M
